About Us
About our Track
Armadillo Downs BMX has just been re configured as of July 2009.  The current
configuration of our track features a right hand first turn, left hand second turn and
right hand third turn.

As in the past Armadillo Downs BMX prides itself with being a versatile track
offering the best of both worlds when it comes to speed and technical skill.

At 1300' we provide four straights packed with jumps that will test the ability of
riders at each skill level, including the professionals.

Our first straight has four obstacles which include a roller at the 30' mark followed
by a step double to double to step up into turn one.

Our second straight has five obstacles beginning with a step up out of turn one
and leads into a table top then double with a jump off double to huge step up into
turn two.

Out of turn two is the start of our rhythm section.  This section starts off with a step
up to double to bigger double then continues on with more doubles than I can
remember.  This section is the longest part of the track and quite possibly the
longest rhythm section in the Central part of the United States.

Turn leads you to our last straight which starts off with a step u to roller to double
to roller to table to the finish line.

resources that are used to run our races, both behind the scenes as well as out
front, are done so by dedicated people that love this sport and kids of all ages.
Without the help of people like these, BMX in Conroe Texas would not be as we
know it today.

If you would like to help, please get in touch with any track official and they will be
able to point you in the right direction.
